On Thursday 4th June 2015 West Lancashire Borough Council hosted the West Lancs CVS Volunteer Centre annual volunteer awards. From across West Lancashire, 21 volunteers qualified for the 100 and/or 200 voluntary hours certificates. On the evening, The Mayor of West Lancashire, Nikki Hennessey, formally presented the certificates to volunteers and afterwards joined with a number of West Lancs charities and the West Lancs CCG to celebrate the contribution that volunteers make to our community.
“The event celebrated the huge volunteer commitment within West Lancashire. We would like to express a thank you to all our volunteers for their invaluable contribution they provide to the organisations throughout West Lancashire.” Jan Howard, Volunteer Centre, West Lancs CVS.
