Why the sunflower?
According to the Eden Project in Cornwall, ‘the sunflower is not a single bloom, it’s hundreds of little flowers that combine together to create something that’s greater than the sum of its parts‘.
We think this neatly sums up the role of the CVS in linking up and serving member groups, to be ‘better together’

You very kindly came to our Committee Meeting armed with lots of information and advice on how to apply for community grants. We have been awarded to date close to £1000, which wouldn’t have been possible without your help.
Thank you for arranging another successful walk, which turned out to be a fantastic event. It helped raise over £550 for chapel funds but the main thing was the fellowship and social gathering of all who attended…I have thoroughly enjoyed being involved and helping to make the events of the past few years successful ones.
