West Lancashire Volunteer Centre recruits volunteers for over 200 hundred organisations and so there is a huge range of volunteering opportunities available.  Volunteers can do all sorts of things, from assisting at a nursery setting, carrying out conservation work, to helping at a day centre.

Volunteering has many positive benefits such as gaining work experience, building confidence, developing communication skills, and improving job prospects.

The Volunteer Centre also runs a 100/200 hours certificate scheme that volunteers can sign up to.  Once volunteers have completed their voluntary work hours they are presented with a certificate at our Annual Award Evenings in recognition of their hard work.
