I agree to become a member of Council for Voluntary Service West Lancashire. Should the Company be wound up I promise to pay the sum of £1 towards its debts if asked to do so. I confirm that I am in sympathy with the Company’s aims and objectives (see below)
The Company’s objects are:
To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community in the local government districts of West Lancashire (hereinafter called ‘the area of benefit’) and, in particular, the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness, and in furtherance of the said purposes, but not further or otherwise, to promote and organise co- operation in the achievement of the same and to that end to bring together in council representatives of the voluntary organisations and statutory authorities within the area of benefit.
Part 3 Data Protection Occasionally, the CVS is asked by external organisations to provide mailing lists of voluntary and community groups in order to send them details of relevant meetings, training, consultations etc.
