Front Entrance
The map shows the location within the town centre, which is signed from all main routes into the town, just head for the Concourse Shopping Centre.
The following instructions are from the M58 motorway
- Leave M58 at Junction 4 (2nd exit) signposted A5068 Skelmersdale
- At the end of the dual carriageway turn right at Hope Island towards Skelmersdale Town Centre B 5312
- At the end of the dual carriageway (Bone Island), take the 1st exit left and keeping left, as the road bends right, (don’t turn left on the bend though) follow the road around the Concourse Shopping Centre.
- You will see MacDonald’s on your left as the road sweeps around left.
- Carry on past the first Concourse car park entrance but keep left as the road divides and turns sharp left, to a mini roundabout. You will see Kentucky Fried Chicken on the corner.
- Go straight on at the mini roundabout and our lay-by is immediately on the right but proceed with caution as traffic comes round the bends very quickly. At busy times it is better to go past and on up to a small roundabout some 50 yards on, turn back on yourself and back to the lay-by which is now on the left and safer to turn into.
- If you have gone past and returned to park in the lay-by and it is full, carry straight on until you reach the small roundabout in front of the Concourse and turn right into Concourse car parking areas. The multi storey is usually closed in the evening but there should be plenty of spaces around the Concourse front.
The Ecumenical Centre is situated opposite the Concourse and multi storey car park, a short walk across the footbridge
